• interned at the Institute for Critical Social Analysis of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation at the deparment for Housing/Rent Struggles/Right to the City/Socialization
  • built an interactive visualization of a concept for a German federal rent cap
• obtained a B.Sc. in IT-Systems-Engineering at HPI, University of Potsdam
• co-developed HowTheyVote.eu as part of the 9th round of the Prototype Fund
• worked at the Chair for Business Informatics and Social Media as a student assisant
  • heavy involvement in the course Fundamentals of Data Science, for which I redesigned assignments to learn the basics of programming in R and conceptualized and implemented a lecture and tutorial on version control (git) in Data Science
  • published Crafting Audience Engagement in Social Media Conversations: Evidence from the U.S. 2020 Presidential Elections which was accepted at HICSS 2022
  • published an extended version of the previous paper in Internet Research (Hagemann, Abramova. Sentiment, we-talk and engagement on social media: insights from Twitter data mining on the US presidential elections 2020)
• worked as a teaching assistant at OSM Group for a lecture on Operating Systems where I supported groups of 3-6 students in bi-weekly tutorials following a flipped-classroom approach
• interned and worked at Playtestcloud
  • built a dashboard to monitor crashes from clients using Ruby on Rails, Geckoboard and the Rollbar API
  • refactored the CSS code-base and unified the asset-bundling of the web-application
  • began the migration of an AngularJS codebase to Angular
